ALZO provided
a lighting seminar titled:
"lighting for Emotional Impact.
All Oscar winning
films are compelling chronicles of our human condition. Intricate tales of
life, death, blood, tears, passion and joy that move us and challenge our
perceptions. "Top of their game" cinematographers use camera and lighting
techniques to emphasize the dialog and to project human emotions of fear,
anger, anxiety, sadness, passion and joy.
Using select clips and stills, we will study award winning
cinematographers techniques in several classic films like "A Passage to
India", "The English Patient", "The Dear Hunter" and more. Employing
projected HD video and studio lighting equipment we will demonstrate some
of the camera and lighting techniques that were used by the masters to
express these powerful human emotions.
ALZO Video was selected as the
sole supplier of lighting to illuminate the classic circa 1931
Warner Theater
for the 3 day festival and parties. ALZO working with cinematographer
Christo Bakalov provided
a lighting seminar during the festival.
ALZO Video donated a
Pan-L-Lite 3-Light location kit to the makers of
BURN movie documentary about
Detroit firefighters and their daily battles with arson fires and the
uncertain future of the city. BURN is currently in pre-production,
acquisition and continuing fund raising.
RSA
productions (Los Angeles) has deployed over 200 ALZO CFL 220V light bulbs
to illuminate the resort location for the Budweiser reality show
"Bud House".
