A two part seminar that defines and compares
the four different lighting technologies used for video production today.
Technical details of how the lights function are provided. In addition,
issues related to usage of the lights are presented.
Incandescent and Fluorescent
PART 2: HID (HMI)
and LED plus a Comparison of Lighting Technologies
SEMINAR II: CRI - What is It?
Is it relevant?
This seminar defines CRI (Color Render Index)
and demonstrates why CRI fails as a means of evaluating the color rendering
ability of lights used in video recording.
This seminar discusses different methods of audio recording
with a DSLR camera. Topics include audio recording with a separate recorder
such as the Zoom H4N, using an audio mixer, channel level control, live audio
monitoring, automatic gain control, dual recording using an external audio
device and built-in camera recorder. Comparison charts show the differences
between audio mixer and audio recorder.
