PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ALZO VIDEO-LUX® TECHNOLOGY

ALZO VIDEO-LUX® light tubes are designed with reduced green cast typical of fluorescent lighting. This provides a perfectly balanced 5600K light for mixing with daylight or 3200k for mixing with Tungsten.

How it works:

All fluorescent light bulbs contain mercury vapor as the “exciting plasma” that excites the phosphor coating to produce optical light output. The spectral light output of mercury vapor is very limited and green. Unlike most fluorescent light bulbs the ALZO VIDEO-LUX® light tubes contain a “filter” technology that reduces this green spectral "spike". In addition, our technology uses an ultraviolet filter technology to reduce ultraviolet output as well.

The ALZO VIDEO-LUX® light tubes provide equal to or better performance than OSRAM STUDIOLINE and KINO FLO “True Match” tubes. ALZO VIDEO-LUX® light tubes are usable “on the set” with traditional Tungsten and DAYLIGHT HID lights.

These T5 BIAX light tubes are not voltage specific as they require a ballast driver.  The ballast is typically specified for a specific voltage or a wide voltage range as in a "universal voltage" ballast. All ALZO Pan-L-Lites incorporate universal ballasts for operation from 100 volts to 240 volts.
