DAYLIGHT HID and Fluorescent video lights are the preferred lights for video professionals and major studios because they are very dependable, produce very little heat and reduce energy expense. In addition, DAYLIGHT Fluorescent and HID lights are very efficient light sources and therefore they do not have power usage concerns like Tungsten lights. An entire ALZO studio I location kit with 3 lights draws less that 8 amps of power from a standard 115 volt house circuit. Video lighting extension cords can be lighter and longer because of the low current draw. In addition, the daylight color temperature of these efficient lights is perfect for daylight fill or mixing with sun light.
